Forget that “they” are even there, and do your thing. Get in your zone. Honestly they probably don’t even care that you’re there, so why do you care that they’re there? I’ve noticed that at my gym at least, that the weights area is less crowded a bit earlier in the morning and gets more crowded later in the morning into the afternoon (dunno about evening). Maybe get yourself in your gym during morning hours and avoid feeling out of place in the free weights area?
